Google analytics now available for immediate signup
According to this post on .net magazine, Google have just announced that henceforth Google Analytics will be available to allcomers for immediate signup. This remedies the previous situation of being placed on a waiting list before being given access service, which still remains free of charge.
This is a powerful system for gathering and presenting website traffic statistics in depth, and an invaluable tool to anyone needing more detailed reporting than is possible from server logfiles alone.
