Firefox, Opera, IE7 updates & betas
Firefox
Firefox has just been updated to version 1.5.0.2 and, while bringing with it the usual stability and security enhancements for all platforms, the announcement focuses on the inclusion of native intel support for those running MacOSX on Macs equipped with Intel Core processors.
Internet Explorer
A new build (5358) of the eagerly awaited IE7 appears to have been leaked to the internet and can be downloaded from a variety of sources. It’s unclear what has changed between this and previous beta releases, other than it requires a real version of WinXP+SP2 in order for it to work.
Opera
In slightly older browser news, the next big upgrade to Opera is well advanced, with public previews for Windows, Unix and MacOSX available from Opera Labs via their downloads page, with a page detailing Opera 9’s capabilities also available.
